HAYDEN
Willis
FOR COLQUITT COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD
MEET HAYDEN
Hayden Willis is a lifelong Colquitt County resident, attorney, educator, and a two-term Chairman of the Board of Education, elected by his fellow board members. He has built his career around service to his community and a commitment to strong public schools.
Since being elected to the Board of Education, Hayden has worked to ensure decisions are made with a focus on students, families, and long-term success. He has partnered with fellow board members, Superintendent Dan Chappuis, and local educators to strengthen academic outcomes, improve transparency, and support a positive learning environment across the district.
Hayden believes strong schools are the foundation of a strong community. He and his wife, Jena, are proud to raise their family in Colquitt County and remain deeply invested in the future of local schools.

Proven Leadership. Real Results.
“Putting parents first, keeping students safe, and ensuring accountability—those aren’t just promises, they’re results we’ve delivered.”- Hayden Willis

My Priorities
We’ve made real progress—but there’s more work to do. My focus is on continuing that momentum and strengthening our schools for the future.
Student Achievement
Continuing to improve academic outcomes, strengthen literacy, and promote high standards for student success and engagement. Every student should be equipped with the skills they need to succeed at every stage of their education.
Safe Schools
Ensuring every student learns in a safe, secure, and supportive environment. Nothing is more important than creating schools where students and teachers feel protected and able to focus on learning.
Support for Teachers
Supporting teachers and staff by reducing unnecessary burdens and ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed. Our educators should be empowered to focus on what matters most—students.
Parent Partnership
Strengthening communication, transparency, and trust with parents and the broader community. Parents deserve to be informed, involved, and confident in their child’s education.
Smart Growth
Planning responsibly for enrollment, facilities, and the long-term success of our growing school system. As our community grows, our schools must be prepared to meet those needs.
Workforce Readiness
Preparing students for success after graduation—whether in college, careers, or the workforce. Our schools should open doors to opportunity and long-term success.
